  • Visiting Artist School Holiday Program April 2018: digital art and painting on glass with Simao

    During the Easter school holidays, Many Hands International hosted a special 5-day creative workshop at the Lautem Cultural Centre. 25 young boys and girls learned how to paint on glass and then organised a community exhibition to celebrate their creative achievements with their families.  Visiting Artist Simao, from Arte Morris and Many Hands Arts Participation Officer, Cesario Laudes lead the activity, sharing their skills and knowledge with the young students.   • Visiting Artist School Holiday Program August 2018: Theatre Workshop and Performance with Lena

    During the August school holidays, MHI hosted visiting performance artist, Lena Caminha from Teatro Timor. For five days Lena worked with young local students from the MHI Creative Arts Program to create a theatre performance to showcase at a special community event.     My Family, My Culture' Youth Arts Exhibition in Dili, Timor-Leste On the 28th of September 2018, students from MHI's Vida Arte Galeria showcased their artwork at a special exhibition titled 'My Family, My Culture' in Dili, the capital city of Timor Leste.
